Comment by Dai on March 24, 2011 at 2:54pm yes, ma'am! went to the tour kick-off on 3/10 in LA. then long beach, anaheim, LA again.. so 4 so far. i'll be seeing them this weekend, and then PERHAPS at the end of the month when they hit up LA (again).
yeah, video is certainly better than nothing, i say. i love monster -- dinosaur is really neat, a classic 50's vibe to it. it's a great vibe seeing them.. it's very laid back, the shows are all intimate and tiny compared to the behemoth monkey shows have become, but that just means more dancing room for us, haha. jake really tears it up live and switches up his solos at times. i wish he'd play the guitar on skyscrapers, though -- he generally takes to the base so that really important element of the song isn't there, but makes for a nice switch up!
Comment by KRISTY NELSON on March 26, 2011 at 7:57am I was able to go to their second show they had when they were in Mississippi; I knew they were gonna be awesome but they are so much more than that! There wasnt but like maybe 10 people there that night which benefited me.. I was able to get to talk to them and get pics.. The guys are so laid back and totally sweet and down to Earth. It was one of the best shows I have been to and cannot wait to see another one =] I will post my pics as soon as I get on my laptop (at work right now).
They didnt play but a couple of the songs that they have out now because they were just getting started, but they could have sat there and sang one word and it would have still rocked!
