"Band" Together.

I've been thinking about something for a few months.

There are a slew of fan sites now in existance. New sites crop up weekly. Some will go the distance, some won't. It's difficult to get a site up and running, gain members...and keep it running. Sometimes, you just need a helping hand.

To set the record straight, "Unofficial" wasn't started with competition between sites in mind. We're not trying to be better than any other site - - we're just trying to be ourselves.

We all have a common goal - to respectfully promote the band(s) that we love.

Ideally, I'd personally like to see all of the fan sites work together and support one another. Collaborate on special projects and events, and lend one another a hand when needed.

So, let me start: If you have a Monkey-approved event that you would like help promoting, drop us a line and we'll back you up and help spread the word. Need a helping hand with your site? Hit us up.

With a unified body, our sites can have an amazing impact. We're all in this together.

We are organising some 'behind the scenes' interviews with people that have worked along side the band, toured with them, etc. John Coslett is the 1st to agree and we would like fans to email questions for him to 100monkeyfansuk@gmail.com. As you say, these groups/sites have a common goal, so why not work together! there are so many of us across the globe, what better way to get the message spread!

I work with Donna on the UK fans facebook fan page and as she said john Coslett (and now Jodie Platz has also agreed) is giving us an interview. The word needs to be spread!
